    Each top is made up of three wood turned pieces plus a flounce disc to hold the cord and fringe inside the tassel. 
    It comes in a set of two for $4.95, with complete instructions 
    to make the style of tassel shown here... 3 color chainette wrap. This is a unique design. It can be done in any yarn you'd like. The instructions with this kit also explain how to make the 3 tiered cut fringe tassel. 

    This design is fairly contemporary, the other pics show decoupage top and a string tassel. You can also stain, decoupage (also shown) or paint the top.
